Interactive worship at home

Is your church planning to suspend worship gatherings for a week or more? Because of the work of Multipliciter to assist house churches, it already has tools available to assist your church to empower your people to worship at home. Unlike a simple live-stream services, this “Worship at Home” option enables you to be:

  1. ENGAGING – Keep track of who is actually engaging in worship and respond to their comments and questions.
  2. BIBLICAL – Help your people dive into the Bible and discuss it with their families or neighbors.
  3. INTERACTIVE – Provide interactivity so they are not merely passively listening to something on the internet.
  4. GIVING – Offer options for giving so your people can continue to worship by giving tithes and offerings that are passed on to your church.
  5. CUSTOMIZED – While there is a standard path ready to send to your people now, we offer customized paths for just your church if you would like to help design and experience you would add to. This could even include sermons on the passage that you yourself preach and upload. Go to the page and click “Take with your own group.” It will automatically create a group and set you to the “Teacher” role which allows you to add/delete steps. Check out the “How to edit your path” lesson on our Teacher guide to learn more about this feature.

The beauty of a system like this is it can help you stay personally connected in a more holistic way while your people are not meeting in one big gathering for a season. You might find that it actually helps them grow deeper and more eager to stay connected to your community of Christians in the future.

You can quickly engage in this opportunity by registering above.

Does this cost?

No, it’s a free resource provided by Multipliciter in partnership with the One Multichurch Network (OMN). This resource leverages OMN’s experience doing church utilizing the power of this experience.

Can I create my own group?

Yes! Be sure to choose the “Take with Your Own Group” option on the resource.

How do I invite my people to my church’s group?

Once you have created your own group, navigate to the “Path” tab. Once there, under “Path,” click invite button. You’ll then be able to invite by inputting emails. You can also get a “shareable link” that you can input into an email, share to your social media, etc.

How do I interact with the people in my group?

This experience is designed to allow interaction primarily through the “Community” feature. Click the “Community” tab and you’ll be able to access the discussion threads for your group and interact with the people in your group.

How do I remove someone from my group?

Select the “Person” icon right below the experience title.

In the window that appears, find the person you’d like to remove, click the ellipsis and select “Remove from Group”

How do I customize the experience?

You can customize this experience for your church. For example, you might want to add your own videos, insert a link to online giving for your church, or add additional steps to this experience. Check out the “How to edit your path” lesson on our Teacher guide to learn more about this feature.

If people in my give through the experience, how are the monies sent to our church?

We’ve created a way for people to give through the experience. In the form provided, people should identify the name and mailing address of the church so we can send the money to the church. Gifts not designated will go to producing more resources like this.

This is great but how do users turn off email notifications for my online experience?

You can manage due date notifications and discussion notifications under your Learn tab by clicking the down arrow icon and then toggling notifications on or off.

Can I turn on a daily or weekly notification digest?

To subscribe to weekly or daily notification digest emails, sign into your account and click on the gear icon under the notification bell. From here you can select to receive the email digest Daily or Weekly (defaults to Never).

To unsubscribe from the email digest, click on the gear icon under your notification bell and select “Never.”

Can I subscribe just to individual discussions?

In some cases, you may want to subscribe to an individual discussion in order to get every response to that discussion, and not just direct responses to your own posts. To subscribe to a discussion, select the “Subscribe” button.

To unsubscribe and stop receiving all notifications, select the “Unsubscribe” button.

You can follow any notification straight to the original discussion by clicking on it. Once the discussion opens, use the unsubscribe button to stop receiving further notifications.
